Working Rights in the UK


During studies, 20 hours/week are allowed for work in the UK. During Vacations, students can utilize their 40 hours a week for work. Undergraduate students can work only 10 hours a week during their study session. Students of public colleges that are funded by the government can do any full-time job during the off-season. International students of private institutions are not allowed to do any full-time or part-time jobs.

Working Rights Post-Study in UK

 

Undergraduate students cannot stay further in the UK after completing their degrees. Ph.D. students can stay only for one year on a work visa. Moreover, one thousand exceptional students are permitted to stay in the UK every year for a job on completing their studies. Later on, they can apply for permanent residence.

7. Applicant’s IELTS with photocopy.
8. Applicant’s original ID card (photocopy) with English Translation.
9. Applicant’s Parents (father & Mother) Original ID cards with photocopies with English
Translation.
10. Applicant’s wife Original ID (photocopy) with English Translation.
11. Applicant’s if married – original marriage certificate (photocopy).
12. Family Registration Certificate (FRC) (original and photocopy).
13. Birth Certificate issued by Union Council (original and photocopy).
14. Bank Statement (28 days maintained).
15. Bank Maintenances Letter.
16. TB test Report.
17. Applicant’s experience letter (Original and photocopy).
18. PKR 100 stamp paper issued in the Name of Sponsor (Affidavit of Support)
